The Friendly Food Club has partnered with BCP Access to Food Partnership and Dorset Council to offer community, youth and health organisations a funded 1-day course to help groups plan and safely deliver their own impactful cooking sessions in their food project and community.

We appreciate that it isn't always possible or appropriate to get the Friendly Food Club team to come to you, but now we can help train and support people in your project to put on your own sessions!

This training programme is a key way to increase the access to cooking confidence and skills for those that really need it across the county.

You will be guided through the process, opportunities and practices to help you put on your own cooking sessions, in almost any venue.

Clarify your reasons and opportunities to lead community cooking.
Develop some initial ideas for your vision, aims, outcomes and activities.
Explore how you can effectively plan, prepare for, deliver and evaluate your sessions.
Review the detailed checklists and templates we provide.
Plan your next steps towards community cooking.
